Do I need a doctor’s referral to come to see you?

  • No referral is required when making an appointment to see a naturopathic doctor.


Will your treatment interfere with my medication's effectiveness?

  • Treatment protocols are carefully put together so that there is no interference with your medication's effectiveness. Drug interactions with supplements and nutrients are carefully studied. Our aim is to support your overall health, and in many cases this means reducing or eliminating the need for a drug through improved overall health.


Are any of your services covered by OHIP?

  • While naturopathic doctors are not currently covered by OHIP, most health insurance plans will reimburse your costs. As well supplements prescribed during your visits may also be claimed on your income tax at the end of the year. Please contact your insurance provider to determine your extended health care benefits.

Can I use your therapies at the same time?

  • Yes. Stress, hormonal imbalances, food intolerances, toxicity, improper organ function and a variety of other factors can impair your ability to conceive even with the help of leading edge technology. Our specialists can safely detect and treat many conception blocking conditions and greatly improve your chance of becoming pregnant.


How many visits will I need?

  • That all depends on your particular condition. For most routine cases a first visit is followed by a review of findings in which a path of treatment is outlined. Follow-up visits are set up to monitor your progress and achieve your health goals. Typically, the review of findings is booked for 1 week after your initial visit and then a follow-up appointment is booked in 3-6 preceding weeks.

What should I expect at my first naturopathic visit to the clinic?

  • The first visit is a comprehensive analysis which examines your past health history, current health status and goals and assesses your future health risks. A general physical exam is conducted at this time as well.
